Hectic dance club is a dance community for children and adults that is based on a personal and individual approach. The founder of the dance community is trainer, lecturer, choreographer and organizer Kateřina Netřebská, who comes from Prague, but her dance knowledge is gathered from all over the world.

With her passion for dance and music, Katka traveled almost all over Europe, America and the Middle East to understand that the center of her entire dance career is a dance style called Dancehall. She landed on a Caribbean island called Jamaica, and understood that this dance is what can evoke in her all the feelings that a dancer expresses through dance and music.

The first idea of ​​building a dance hall crew was born in Jamaica. And as it happens, what we wish for happens and a dance hall crew called “Hectic gyals” aka “Hectic women” was born. What does the name “Hectic” mean? The founder, Katka, says that she has been “going full throttle” all her life and nothing could stop her. Her life had been full of experiences and adventures and she had accomplished so much that she knew the word Hectic was right.

Hectic is now a symbol for Katka to build on. Katka adds: “I already long for harmony and a peaceful life”.

Since 2019, Katka has expanded her team with additional members, where each dancer with their passion for dance teaches as Katka characterizes it as much as possible in dance. Together with the whole team, we lead our students to the joy of dancing and the joy of dancing, and we love how each student grows individually as a dancer.
